Michelle Courtright founded Jane in 2023 with one goal: to reimagine women’s wellness through the lens of plant medicine and modern science. Based in Minneapolis and a single mom of three, Michelle’s journey began with a life-altering breast cancer diagnosis. Chemotherapy, pharmaceuticals, and an abrupt dive into early menopause left her physically depleted.

Searching for relief, she turned to plant medicine—and found true healing. Jane was born from that awakening: a place where ancient wisdom meets contemporary science, where women are empowered to care for themselves with intention, education, and trusted natural medicine.

LouAnn Berglund is Partner and Chief Marketing Officer, to usher in a new chapter in women’s wellness. Raised in the wild beauty of Northern Minnesota, LouAnn grew up steeped in nature—from dawn till dusk. That early reverence for the earth continues to shape her approach to healing, motherhood, and living with intention.

A single mom of three, LouAnn knows that wellness begins at home—with honest conversations, safe spaces, and the right tools to support body and mind. She’s witnessed the quiet magic of low-dose cannabis to ease stress, deepen rest, and reconnect people to themselves—especially as her own children begin to navigate their adult lives.

Crystal Brown is building more than community—she’s building equity. As Partner and Vice President of Community Impact, Crystal leads with fierce compassion, championing justice, mentorship, and systemic change within the cannabis industry. Her mission: ensure the future of wellness includes everyone.

With a master’s degree in social work and a career rooted in policy and advocacy, Crystal understands how deeply systems affect people’s access to healing. She’s committed to lifting up ambassadors, entrepreneurs, and communities disproportionately affected by cannabis criminalization—especially Black and Brown women who have historically been excluded from wellness narratives.

Crystal is also a proud single mom of four girls and lives in Minneapolis. Her life is beautifully full—between her daughter's track meets, ballet, snowboarding, and art classes, she still carves out time for nature, stillness, and presence. For Crystal, parenting is a radical act of love—and so is building an industry rooted in truth, healing, and accountability. Through Jane, she’s helping to create a future where wellness is more than a product—it’s a pathway for collective growth and generational change.
